Cosmic answers in a Coors can
Best use of a beer can EVER. There's some sort of cosmic tie between dragster crews keeping dirt out of their zoomies and Jerry Reed humping cases of early peel-tab Coors cans across state lines with Burt Reynolds running interference in a feather-band cowboy hat and a whip-stingered T/A. B-A-N-A-N-A-S FOSTER
Sure do miss Pat Foster. Not only was he an amazing drag racer, mechanic and builder, he was Cole's dad and a finger in the air to everyone who wanted to tame down the sport and make it safe for Castrol to slap their logo on a fiberglass bar o' soap-shaped with a Mustang grille decal on the one end.
I had the good fortune to be able to spend some memorable moments with Pat late at night in Cole's shop in Salinas, CA years ago. Tell you this much: I'm worth a few bucks more for the hours spend with the 'ol man. Check out the tribute that wediditforlove posted on Pat.

EL BRIZ, SR.
Andy Brizio is one of the greats of the early days of hotrodding who's still with us, God bless him. If you ever make it to the great San Francisco Bay Area somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas, let a brother know –– I'll make sure you get an invite to Andy's Annual. You won't find a better guy and a better hot rod family than Andy and his brood.
After all, you think a C-Cab and a racing stripe jacket could ever be pulled off this well by just a mere mortal? I think not.
